20 seconds of courage. 20 seconds of courage. Okay. Okay said Dylan Mee from We bough a zoo -The Movie.
And this is exactly what Noralis told her self before she got the courage to kiss Christian… she counted back from 20 as she walked towards him and as she got closer she felt her whole body shiver. She tapped his shoulder and as he turned around to say hi, she kissed him… and then ran. He didn’t know what to think or say, all he knew was that he had felt something…something he hadn’t felt before
And that was the beginning of a beautiful God centered romance…
When I hear stories like this my soul smiles and my heart jumps for joy. I adore love stories because they remind me that corny is still cool and taking ridiculous leaps of faith is the way to go. I had the honor of hanging out with these two lovers, hear about their relationship and how far they’ve come and as a plus I got to photograph them. Noralis contacted me a while back with her dreams for a session that spoke about how wild, free and totally in love they were… and I, of course, accepted and jumped in the excitement wagon with her. We got some beautiful soulful portraits of their love for each other and the security she feels when she is in his arms… and that my friends is why I do what I do.
I asked Christian to tell Noralis why he loved her… yeah, this happened. Tears came streaming down his face as he faced the love of his life and told her how she made him a better man just for being alive and how she had changed his life forever.
Their story made the images and I was honored enough to capture the moments <3
